Hello there! It’s nice to meet you—virtually, at least. I’m Jonathan, the founder and art director of Pulp & Pixel and I thought I’d share a little bit more about my journey.
My passion for graphic design started many years ago as a hobby, creating concert and event posters in Montreal. I’ve come a long way since then! Today, I tackle projects small and large and can say there is very little I have not had the opportunity of designing. I continue to attend courses and seminars to expand my skill set. In the past several years I’ve lived between Montreal and Vancouver, and have worked with clients across North America, in Asia, Africa, and Europe, ranging in size from small start-up companies to larger international organizations.
I work with many non-profits and social advocacy groups in Canada and around the world, as well as emerging local businesses. I want to work with clients whose visions align with mine, and that’s why I dedicate a portion of my time and talent for those who have a mission to make the world a better place.
I am especially inspired by bold colours, clean typography, and the work of great designers of minimalist design like Saul Bass, Dieter Rams, Charles and Ray Eames, and Paul Rand, to name a few. Like most creatives, you can find me working with an espresso by my side, and the music turned up high.
If you think I’ve got what it takes s to bring your visions to life, and more importantly, that my work inspires you to want to work together, let’s chat and get the ball rolling.
