My Top Streaming Design & Art Documentary Picks

If you’re like me, the end of summer means the beginning of cozy evenings binging on TV (when not working, of course!). As important as it is to work hard, I think unwinding with an inspiring film is also important from time to time. Here are some of my top suggestions for films related to design and art—most of which you can stream on Netflix (last I checked). Watch the trailers below!

Which of these have you seen? Any others to suggest? Leave a note in the comment section.

Art & Copy (2009)

Design is One (2012)

Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel (2011)

Eames: The Architect and The Painter (2011)

Helvetica (2007)

Pablo (2012)

The Pitch (TV series – 2012)

I admit this isn’t really a documentary. But sometimes you need some reality TV in your life. Why not make it about advertising pitches?

Print the Legend (2014)

Typeface (2009)
